Population Census Shows Latvia’s Population at 2.068 Million in 2011
The total number of Latvia’s population produced as a result of the population census in 2011 is 2,067,887, or by 309,000 people (13 percent) lower than the figure obtained during the previous population census organized in 2001, according to preliminary information from the Latvian national statistics office, the Baltic News Service reported.
